Tim Rice
Tim began his career with the New Orleans firm of Howard, Weil, Labouisse, Friedrichs, & Co. shortly after graduating from L.S.U. He remained there until 1987 when he co-founded Johnson, Rice. He left Johnson Rice in 1995 to start Rice, Voelker, LLC. During his career he has worked as an analyst, a trader, and broker. Tim currently serves as managing partner of Rice, Voelker.

Cory Armand
Cory has been with Rice, Voelker LLC since 2004. He is a partner and a member of the management committee. He previously held the position of Senior Vice President of GulfStar Group, an investment banking and private equity investment firm based in Houston, Texas. Prior to joining GulfStar Group in 1998, he served as Vice President of First Commerce Corporation of New Orleans, Louisiana (now Chase) and as Manager of Financial Reporting of CII Carbon, L.L.C. of Houston, Texas. He earned a BA in economics and graduated magna cum laude from Tulane University in 1991. He also earned an MBA from Tulane University's A.B. Freeman School of Business with honors in 1997.

Sandy Brasher
Sandy rejoined Rice Voelker in 2015 after 10 years on the buy side, where he was a principal at Water Street Capital, Elm Ridge Management and a Co-Founder and Managing Principal of West Road Capital. Prior to joining Rice Voelker in 2000, he served in the institutional equity divisions at Jefferies & Co., Rauscher Pierce Refsnes and Johnson Rice, and previous to that, started his career as an analyst and associate in investment banking in New York. He earned an BA in Economics and English from The University of Texas at Austin, and an MBA from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management.

Ben Joseph
Ben has been researching and generating investment ideas for institutional investors at Rice, Voelker LLC since 2007. He is also a partner with the firm. Prior to joining the firm, Ben worked at Avondale Partners from 2004 to 2007 as an Associate Analyst covering the Business Service/Government Outsource industry, with particular focus on privatization. Ben received his BS in Finance with a concentration in Investments from Louisiana State University.

Scott Madden
Scott joined Rice Voelker in April 2014. Prior to Rice Voelker, he was an analyst for over six years at FreeGulliver, a boutique multi-family office in New Orleans, where he focused on investment research and portfolio management for wealth management clients and the company’s fund of funds. Scott received both his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in finance from Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business. Scott also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst ® designation, receiving his charter in 2012, and serves on the Board of Directors of the CFA Society of Louisiana.

Matthew Cohn
Matthew joined Rice Voelker in February 2020. Prior to Rice Voelker, he performed industry agnostic equity research for an institutional clientele at Memphis Research Group and capital markets advisory for oil & gas corporations at Johnson & Rice. Matthew received his Bachelor of Science with a focus on psychology and comparative religious studies from Lambuth University and his Bachelor of Arts with a focus on analytic philosophy and music performance from the University of Memphis.
